My Weekend of Food

My veggie plate at Mastro’s.  Steamed broccoli, gorgonzola mac & cheese, and spinach…and a huge martini.

Noodle Kugel.  Yum.  I did not make this, but I ate it.

Potato Pancakes.  I did make these.  They looked weird, but tasted good.

Ham.  I did not eat this.

Bunny Cake…getting stabbed in the eye.  I did eat this.

Long story short, I’m full.  And speaking of food, I recently read the PDN guide to Los Angeles, and I have some things to add…some photo related and some food related…

First of all, equipment.  OTMFC.
Second, production.  First Shot and Stephanie Morton.
Third, food.  This might be a whole ‘nother post in itself as most of my favorites are not listed.  Let’s start with Mastro’s Steakhouse.  I do not eat meat, but I am 100% confident in saying that if you want a steak in LA, if you want to impress someone, this is the place to go.  It’s not cheap.  Mastro’s is better reserved for a special night out, but it is some old school Beverly Hills classy shit.  Also, the east side is not well represented in the PDN guide, and we got the goods over here.  Hmmm…maybe I’ll make my own little LA guide sometime.
