This week is chock full of work and play. Monday was Kathy Griffin, who I have worked with once before. Yesterday was a new actress for Bust Magazine. Tomorrow is an ad that I will disclose at a later date. Also, I’m excited about the Philip-Lorca diCorcia show opening this weekend at the LACMA. Yeehaw! Finally, a show I want to see.
In addition to work, yesterday was our 2nd wedding anniversary, and the husband took off early from work and we had a lovely afternoon/evening. I have a couple friends who have recently fallen deep in like with new people, and it seems like love is in the air. Not a bad thing. The picture below is how the husband proposed to me. He knew of my love for Robocop, and he found it endearing. He had this masterpiece made specifically for me and the proposal. That was one of the best days ever. It was my 29th birthday, and his creativity continues to blow my mind on an almost daily basis. Sigh. I’m a lucky lady – what can I say?
